I spent a little time around the house "playing" with my fall decor.
I poked some fall leaves in my rooster pitcher.
Just a few little touches to my entry way
I slipped napkin rings on my candle sticks. Thought it looked cute.
Just a few things on the buffet in my entry way. I still have more to put out
I love this green shelf I hung near the front door. I found it at the flea market last year and I love to decorate it as the seasons change.
Even put a picture of my father-in-law in a thrift shop fall frame.
I love to bake so I decided to try this Caramel Apple Cake recipe I found on Sherry's blog The Charm Of Home. It was delicious.
Great way to end the day.

I have spent the entire day decorating for Fall. But it takes me a while. Fall is my favorite time. I love to stretch it out as long as I can.

I've put out a few bits of Fall decor but as it's almost the middel of Sept I think it's time for more!! Love the napkin ring on the candle....clever!
I have done nothing. Life is insane here right now. I need the weather to cool and for a few days of calm before I can get the boxes out. Okay enough whining. How are you girlfriend?

That cake looks really good and so fall like.
I have been putting up a few Fall decorations too. A wreath on the front porch went up yesterday. Its in the 60's here today and sunny so very much that feeling of Fall.
